Get to Know Stephen Kapusta
Stephen is an innovator, a strategist, and a martech expert with over 15 years of experience in thought-leadership, community advocacy, and professional communications.
Stephen is deeply passionate about authentic engagement and community-driven advocacy. With a strong background in business development, digital media, and martech, he excels at designing cross-platform communication strategies that amplify stories and drive participation through ethical and sustainable best practices.
Throughout his career, Stephen as consulted dozens of organizations across various business verticals, acted as the lead marketing technology liaison with the world’s top technology providers, and trained hundreds of individual marketing and technology practitioners.
Pittsburgh Digital Strategy is the next-step evolution of these experiences. He aims to improve the way we work together to use technology to enrich the human-experience through meaningful brand-to-consumer interactions.
Stephen is a native Pittsburgher and first-generation Croatian-American whose family found its footing in Pittsburgh’s North Side neighborhood. He is a University of Pittsburgh graduate where he earned a degree in Communications, with a focus on media criticism, media influence, and rhetorical studies. Pittsburgh will always be Stephen’s home and it is where he works his full-time job as father to two bright little ones.
